Le diamant central, de taille ancienne plutôt coussin, pèse environ 1 carat (estimé, non pesé). D'une belle blancheur, il présente de petites inclusions visibles à la loupe.
Ce très beau travail français des années 1950 est exceptionnel dans son ouvrage d'or, à la manière d'une dentelle ou d'un nid d'abeille.
